Problems with motu 828mkII and apple software

Hi!
I have a 828mkII and a minimac 1,42 GHz with 1Gb ram, I use Audiodesk for recording and mixing...and it's all ok. Yesterday I've installed a original version of Garageband, but don't work with the motu! when I play I hear only noisy and feedbacks, no sound! I try to set the output by the internal card of the mac, I've put the headphones into the mac and it's ok.....the problem it's only with the motu.
The same problem exist with a demo of guitar rig and with peak4....
Peak4 the last week works perfectly!
