Frozen Microbook IIc - Hard Reset?

hey all

Plugged in my Microbook last night. Initially heard it clicking a couple of times (sounded like phantom power clicking on and off) and then it froze and refused to respond.

Tried to unplug and reconnect it, which as it was on bus power should have power cycled it too, but it wouldn't respond. It would get some power, as all of the lights come on, but it just sits like that and it doesn't flash the little pattern of lights it normally does as it boots and starts up.

Though it's normally just my windows laptop it's plugged into, tried plugging it into a Mac, and also just mains power, and always the same result.

Has anyone had to deal with this before? Is there a specific combination of buttons to hold to do a hard reset or anything like that? Tried googling but couldn't see anything.

I have the same problem. How do I update the firmware if my computer doesn't recognize the microbook IIc?

Do you not have the external USB power supply? That's not the same as USB bus power.
