Applying Effects to a single soundbite

Can I apply an effect or processing on a soundbite by soundbite basis rather on a track by track basis? It was a killer feature in Samplitude back in the day and I've just discovered that Studio One has this functionality, I'm hoping I've overlooked a technique in DP10?

Click on a Soundbite to select it (I'd use the Sequence Editor for this, personally). Then, go to Audio > Apply Plug-in.

You'll see a Preview option that loops for you while you change parameters.

For details, check out FILE-BASED PLUG-IN PROCESSING in the DP User Guide, pg. 898.

DP is most flexible in this regards— gad, that sounds like Wayne's World.

You've been given one solution based on what you've told us how you want to solve an issue. If that doesn't work out, it's because you've not told us what you're trying to accomplish. If it's the same thing, great. If not, then we need more info.

Good luck!

Thank Tritonemusic - chapter and verse is much appreciated.

My slight disappointment is that the process is not real time. Which to be fair the manual is very upfront about on page 898-

FILE-BASED PLUG-IN PROCESSING
File-based processing does not occur in real time.

Still I'm better informed than I was, thanks for helping.
