Can Track Pitch Correction be set to 432 Hz?

Hello! I have a client who wants me to mix a song as well as tune/pitch correct the vocal tracks. However he tunes his instrument (guitars, bass, etc.) to 432 Hz instead of the normal 440 Hz. Is there a way to set the track pitch correction to 432 Hz?

I've never run in to this issue before....any ideas would be most appreciated!

Yes, it can be done. How in DP? I haven't a clue. I imagine, this is covered in the manual somewhere. Standard pitch does not = 440 in many parts of the world where it can still range from 439–451.

ZTX is definitely the engine I prefer but I like a 3rd party app called Twisted Wave where it takes a few seconds to re-pitch an entire track. PSP and others have inexpensive pitch correcting utilities based on the ZTX engine.

I'll leave the 432 nonsense to others. An awful lot of BS just so that octaves of middle C can be done without decimal places. Really, it was the desire to have middle C at 256 Hz where the math is easy. Sheesh :boring:

As long as the check clears!

A=432 gives you this.

In preferences under Data Display there's a option to change the 'Audio Pitch Automation Reference'. I haven't ever used it, but may be what you're looking for.

See manual p 82 or search "440"
