Big sur update = no audio export formats - DP 9.52

Hi Commnunity

Apologies in advance if this info is readily available. I did search a bunch and didn't find much.

I just upgraded to 11.2 and am using a new (to me) 2018 mac mini. Seems like most things are working well but:

--it crashes trying to export soundbites as MP3. There are no other options in export format selection
--"edit audio export formats " is just a blank window--

So I'd guess that that bit of DP was not transferred due to some incompatibility or something? Not sure at all where to look for those files/parts on the mac.

One downside of DP working so well for me over the years is that I've had to learn very little about fixing anything under the hood. And this has a workaround for now too, just sharing bounces. But would be very handy to have it all working right.

And since I'm here-- any quick trick for making OS 11 allow safe plug-ins that worked in os 10? Quick search on that hasn't shown me anything, maybe I'm searching wrong terms though...

Thanks!

As per the MOTU site in the section on updates:
"Digital Performer and Performer Lite (any version) are not yet compatible with macOS Big Sur."
When the update to allow use with Big Sur, it will be a DP 10 update. I doubt there will be a DP 9 update.
On plugins, same story -- each company provides information on if and when their products will work with Big Sur. At this point many of them have not provided new versions.

That would explain why I couldn't find info on getting it to work. Basic recording is working fine in Big Sur though-- FYI. Easy enough to use my old computer for awhile until update arrives.

thx!
