Can I remove the stand from my 2020 iMac and replace it with a VESA mount converter, so I can mount my monitor on an articulating arm? I think some year-model iMacs can have this done post-purchase, and some have to be ordered this way, but I don't know about the 2020 iMacs.
Thanks!

The shell is unchanged going back to 2012. The mount is unchanged going back to 2009 for the 21.5” & 27”. The VIVO mount is quite popular and inexpensive.

Tons of videos on this. Google is your friend.
The iMac Pro takes a different adapter.
