My friend has a gift for understatement. Hahah... it seriously blows chunks. :vomit:

I wrestled with it for a while, adjusting it, hoping it would be passable for a "confidence" reverb when tracking vocals. I flat out gave up and and instead bought a used Lexicon MX200 hardware unit on Craigslist that has SPDIF in/out so I could hook it up to my 828es without having to give up precious analog I/O.

Good to know thanks! Guess I'm not missing anything there.

I've got a MX200 as well that still stands the test of time for it's quality. Been using it for other things (live PA setup stuff) but your idea sounds excellent.
