Use keyboard for left-click only?

I'd like to be able to type a key-combination and have it work like a mouse click where the current mouse cursor location is. It looks like the only accepted way to do this is to turn on the mouse-keys. But I'd rather not do it that way.
Before I set this up in Keyboard Maestro, I just wanted to see if there was a quick way to do it within the Mac OS (I'm in Mojave).

I didn't know there was a thing called mouse keys. I'm just getting over the loss of mouse balls, but I digress. lol
The trick is the "at" location of the mouse and KM will allow that. It couldn't be that hard to set up a KM macro, could it?
I may have a look at mouse clicks once I get out of the last 5 rabbit holes I fell into... lol AFAIK, KM is your best choice here. (Note: I've been wrong before. Ask anybody!) lol

Thanks, MLC. I was hoping Apple would just put something in the OS, but KM to the rescue (of course!)

Where do you think you are? Microsoft?

When I'm pasting events into iCalendar, I must first click on a day of the week before I pasting (otherwise it defaults to Monday).
I generally use mouse-buttons to page left/right, click and paste. Previous OS's let me use the mouse very quickly, but with Mojave, it behaves stupidly, creating a new event (as if I dbl clicked, though I didn't), or sometimes even pasting the event, even without my clicking command-v. Just glitchy as frick.
I just now tested using Mouse Keys, as a temp solution, and it was another version of stupid. It did not paste in the clicked day, nor on Monday, but rather, it pasted off-screen on the previous week. Alas.
It's possible KM's action might behave better.

Actually, the OS has a pretty elegant solution, depending on how you have your calendar view setup.
I'm usually in month view, so my solution would be (in iCal): hit cmd-1 to go to day view. CMD arrow keys left or right to go to the day you want to inset the event. Hit cmd-v (paste). Then use cmd-1, 2, or 3 to return to your view of choice. Once there, cmd l/r arrows will navigate accordingly.
No KM macro necessary.

Thanks for that tip. I might try some version of that. WEEK view is my preferred view/entry point. But I'm a dog who can learn maybe one new trick per week.
