DP 4.6 & Reason 3.0

I'm somewhat of a newbie to DP 4.6 so bear with me. I switched to DP because I didn't care for Pro Tools but unfortunately most of what I track in DP 4.6 gets mixed in Pro Tools.
Here's the question. Let's say I'm tracking a song in DP 4.6 and I'm rewiring Reason 3.0. Now, I'd like to take that song to a Pro Tools studio for mixing.
Can I save the whole file as AAF, and this includes the Reason rewire information (including any MIDI programmed in Reason), or should I just program MIDI within DP 4.6 and save this along with the AAF files and set up Reason in the Pro Tools studio to play the MIDI recorded earlier?
Can AAF save my MIDI tracks? Will Pro Tools read them?
