I'm thinking about getting a 7200rpm drive put in my TiBook. Anyone have experience? Noise, heat, performance, longevity?
PLEASE post if you do.

I put a Hitachi 7200 in my Ti 500 3 years ago and the performance bump up was excellent. It‘s still going strong!
It‘s quieter than the original, no detectable heat increase.
Makes 24 track, 24 bit Live multitrack recording easy and stable.

Thanks. It was hard to find one in stock but I should have it next week. I hear that Dell (I think it was) bought a shitload from Hitachi and thats why there is a backlog.
