Garbled MIDI with drag and drop from EZK and EZD2

Hello all,
I'm wondering if any other DP users have this problem: when I drag and drop MIDI files from the arrangement window in either EZKeys or EZDrummer2 into the tracks window in DP, the MIDI gets garbled. At the beginning of the MIDI file, notes are missing or are very elongated, the whole pattern may be shifted a beat or more ahead, sometimes the entire pattern itself is elongated.

I filed a support ticket with MOTU; we went back and forth for quite a while, but the support person insisted he could not recreate the problem. However he was using only a demo version of EZD, which did not have the same version number as I had.

I think it was Toontrack who told me about a workaround, which was dragging the MIDI from the Arrange window into the Favorites window in EZK, and from there into the DP. I've ended up doing this even with EZDrummer -- yes, dragging MIDI from it to EZKeys and from there to DP. Ridiculous.
Toontrack has not offered any solution.

Anyway, my point here is just to see if any other DP users are having this problem. If so, please raise your hand!

FWIW: I'm on the current versions of everything. DP 10.11, EZ Keys 1.3.0 and EZ Drummer 2.1.8.

Not really. Dragging from EZDrummer etc also brings in (from memory) time signature information which shows up in the conductor track...is it possible this could be affecting things? It’s a PITA to have to keep cleaning these things out..

I, too, get annoyed with the time signature info being constantly dropped into the conductor track. I don't think that has anything to do with this problem. I've always been getting the time sign. info, even before this problem.

I should have specified in my original post that it's MIDI coming from the Song Creator window in EZK and EZD that gets garbled. If I drag and drop MIDI from the Browser window, it's ok.
