Hello Motunation,
i can't find the way to hear my instrument on audio track during playback.
It only works when i press the record button or while not running playback...

Btw, did you experienced (only on one session for me): no more than on take in looping overdub mode ? (could it be a DP10 bug ?)

thanks for your help, and in those crazy days, stay safe !

You may want to post this in Digital Performer [MacOS]: Troubleshooting/Criticism. Since no one has chimed in I guess I would check my DP Input Monitoring settings. I have an 828x and don't have this issue.

There is a little blue speaker icon in the tracks list that sets whether you are hearing the input source or whether you are hearing the recorded track.

If the speaker icon is enabled, you won't hear the recorded track, you'll hear the input. You can just turn that off to hear the track.

As cuttime mentioned, there are settings that affect how this works. Go to the STUDIO pull-down menu, and choose "Audio Patch Thru". I change this setting depending on what I'm doing. You might try setting it to either Auto, or Blend.

Look for a section of the manual called "Audio Input Monitoring"

I don't know anything about looping overdub mode.

The new Fast USB 2 interfaces with a Direct monitor Mix or Blend control make this really easy MOTU's is the M4. This can be done with any interface but the older USB 1.1 and Firewire have more latency built in.

DP 9.52 and 10 have lower buffer requirements which allow you to monitor more tracks with near-zero latency.
