Thrill Kontakt

Hello people,

I am new to the forum so apologies if I put this subject to the wrong topic.

I 've got Kontakt's Thrill VST which is amazing but somehow cannot find/assign the vertical automation to my MIDI lane. The horizontal is 'Breath Control' I figured out.

I was wondering also how could I record the control from Kontakt's environment.

Looked for it online and found a solution but it is for MAC and protools which was difficult for me to 'translate' it to Windows and DP 10.

I post some of the links in case someone finds them helpful.

..and just before I was ready to start smashing everything around me it hit me first! I had to enable the "record" in the automation drop down menu on the instrument panel and then I would just fiddle around with the mouse while recording. Easy as pie. But where was the drop down menu?
I did not know that when you move an instrument to V-RACK it looses the automation option !!!
Why is that?

Just the way it is, but MIDI tracks that address the V-Rack can still include automation. From my perspective, V-racks are a great tool when scoring across multiple cues, but when recording single-songs, I prefer to keep all VIs in tracks to allow volume/plug-in automation. This gives me multiple ways to dynamically address volume: Expression/Breath Control (during live tracking for real-time dynamic input); MIDI Automation (for addressing additional dynamic movement) and VI Volume (to make overall adjustments and/or tweaks).
