Best way to play samples in DP9

I've not much experience using samples as I pretty much have only used MIDI instruments and live recorded guitar and vocals.
I recently bought the Phantom horn library from zero-G and it requires the FUll Kontact sampler (399) not just the free player. I can't get the individual WAV files to play in the nanosampler.
What is the best way to go about this.
TIA

You don't want to hear this: By buying a licensed Kontakt library you have wandered into a mess of copy protection and corporate licensing. Your best bet is to purchase the full Kontakt sampler on sale. It can be had for 1/2 price two or three times a year...or ask for a refund.

Thanks for the reply the library that I bought is very small it was only $50 so that’s why I am hesitant to get the full kontact sampler but if I have to then I guess I could wait for it to go on sale.

There's a whole lot more to sampling these days than "this sound at this pitch". If you want to scare yourself, download the NI Kontakt manuals and see a world of scripts and programming that is likely to make your head spin. But have fun!

Kontakt is amazing; the number and quality of 3rd Party VIs is supports is beyond compare and even the factory NI patch set gives you a lot to play with. You can get Complete 12 (Select version) for $200... it includes Kontakt and a quite a bit more.

Thanks for the tip.
I checked out the select package. It has the Kontact 6 player but I need the full Kontact 6. The samples I bought have several formats but the Kontact samples folder only works with the full version.
There has to be a plug-in sample player that will play the samples in the wav folder (multis). Nano sampler should but it won't.

My bad. Hard to believe NI sells a product called "Komplete" doesn't include Kontakt6! Apologies.
I'd keep a lookout for the sales that periodically pop up on NI stuff. If you wanna' do VIs, you almost certainly will want Kontakt at some point. As noted previously, there is a lot more to modern sampled instruments than simple sample playback.
