I just installed an ACARD AEC-6290M and (2) Hitachi HIT13G0252 80GB SATA drives in RAID 0 configuration using OS 10.2.8's built in RAID software on a 466MHz Digital Audio G4. So far so good. I don't see any reason why you will have any issues, other than possible bus master issues with high performance audio cards.
