EW Play stops playing in VEP

Any VEP users experience this?
In VEP6, after an hour or so, all the Play instances in my VEP template stop sounding. Channels are recieving MIDI, but no sound is output. The instruments output meters also show nothing. In order to get them back I have to quit out of VEP entirely, restart and reload everything - about 10 mins
. Sometimes I notice that Play is still playing the attack-samples for a bit before it stops sounding entirely.
Play instances within DP don't ever do this. It's only in VE Pro that it occurs. Updating Play didn't help.
I'm posting in the Vienna and EW forums. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
