Ultralite AVB random disconnects

Hello!
My Ultralite AVB works perfectly with my old Lenovo ThinkPad X230 laptop, so I think it is not a hardware issue.
When I bought a new Lenovo ThinkPad T490S (i7-8665U, 32GB RAM), I started having issues. The soundcard stops sending and recieving audio from and to the computer, but it still shows up as connected in Ableton (all the channels go completely silent (-inf. db)). I don't get any warning sound or anything, it just stops sending and recieving audio. A quick and dirty fix it is to unplug the USB and plug it back in. I use the soundcard a lot for live performing, and I'm always anxious about this happening during a live session. It is also a problem during recording sessions.
So far I have tried using both USB 3.0 ports, the Thunderbolt port, changing the USB cable, reinstalling Windows, restoring Ultralite factory settings, installing the latest drivers and firmware. The laptop is configured for maximum performance.
What could it be?
