No Level Metering in Pro Audio Control

Hi All,

I received my Ultralite MK4 earlier this week. When I log on to Pro Audio Control it's not displaying input levels. I've seen them once or twice since purchasing the device, so I know it can work, but most times PAC isn't displaying the levels. Is there anything I can do to ensure metering appears all the time? Is this a bug that will improve with updates? it's really frustrating, I like the idea of PAC online but it needs to be flawless to be useful, particularly in pro-audio contexts.

Cheers.

Metering in PAC has been hit or miss for me as well. Usually works on my iPad. Sometimes not on my Mac. I haven't really tried to suss it out as I always monitor levels in DP, but concur with you concerns, particularly if using PAC in a live context.

One thing: make sure to go back to Devices and re-launch PAC at the start of a session. I've noticed missing metering when the Address on my 828es didn't change and PAC doesn't start from scratch. Not sure it makes a difference; not in-studio at the moment.

Thanks for the response, HCMarkus. The tip about restarting PAC may help, I just did it and I have metering back, at least for now.

One strange thing is that metering still seems to work in the Device page (I see signals coming in below the right knobs) even when it is missing from the mixer. Hopefully there are bug fixes on the way from MOTU.

Cheers.
