macOS 10.14.4 update -- is it by stealth?
Microsoft Remote Desktop asked to update itself today for a compatibility fix with macOS 10.14.4, which does NOT show up in the App Store, yet I found this link:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/maco ... te.274017/
Is this not yet an official public release, and they're just being pre-emptive in making a fix to Microsoft Remote Desktop based on a beta copy?
I notice there are recommendations about audio and video driver updates.

I thought it was released a couple days ago. Here’s a ink to the Combo Updater.

I believe all System-related updates are now found in System Preferences/Software Update with Mojave. The Apple apps (Pages, etc.) still show in the App Store.
P.S. Profile not updated, but 10.4.4 installed.

Mine doesn't ever show them it seems. I had to go into Software Update and have it search for updates and then it found it the day it came out. I went to Apple's site and it didn't even show up in the Downloads section (it only had 10.14.3 updates), yet I somehow found the pages for it and managed to grab the updater.

Cool; I didn't know they had yanked it out of the App Store. That makes sense, as it's a more "serious" update that shouldn't be flat-lined in importance with less risky stuff, along with the constant annoying reminders after we've already decided to wait.
I mostly just wanted to make sure there wasn't a retroactive pull after some problem was found that didn't come up in beta testing. I have not done the update yet but will post separately about a crippling problem I have since the last update that I'm hoping is now fixed.

Hah like 10.14.3's combo update. It told everyone their Mac was unsupported, and you had to use the regular point updater until Apple fixed it the next day.mhschmieder wrote:Cool; I didn't know they had yanked it out of the App Store. makes sense, as it's a more "serious" update that shouldn't be flat-lined in importance with less risky stuff, along with the constant annoying reminders after we've already decided to wait.

Yeah the App Store stuff freaked me out when I first upgraded to Mojave. I would've figured they would've gotten it right by now, hopefully if there's a 10.14.5 update my Software Updater finally lets me know.
