The #MotuDP10 is great! But, the system crashes when I try to open the "Insert continuous data" menu. Every time!! Am I the only one? Thanks!

Yup. Confirmed. Choosing Insert Continuous Data crashes DP10 here. As does Reassign Continuous Data....fortunately I never work this way. I always initiate CC data from a controller or from the menu in the ME. These are working fine.

This is not good news. I often write a bit of controller data using insert. I guess I can use the alternatives while they fix it. Does editing CC Data work OK?
From what we've seen so far, we might suspect MOTU doesn't do regression testing.

Yes. All other aspects of editing MIDI CC data, that I've tried, are fine. It's just initiating these Region menu commands that causes crashes.

Inserting time is also a known bug that will crash DP 10 every time. Clearly, MOTU knows (knew) about this before release. A little birdy told me... That has to be fixed in the next release, as do a few others.
Fringe benefit of not being a beta tester: I can talk about this stuff.
Want to keep it quiet, MOTU? Make me a beta tester. Now there's an offer you can't refuse... or not.

Inserting time doesn't crash DP10 for me. Insert Bars does, but it's intermittent. The Insert Bars crash only occurs on bigger projects I started in DP9. I haven't created any large projects with DP10 yet. I can't get any of the little DP10 test projects I've created to crash when inserting bars (or time) as Insert Continuous data does.

Oooops! Sorry. Yes, in the Quickscribe window in particular. Should have remembered that but I never use that window not ever. lol

Yes, I've stumbled on that Quickscribe window. I can't figure out what all those weird lines and little symbols mean.
...but really, I'm not crashing when inserting time, by using Splice from the Edit menu, in Quickscribe. Is that what you're doing? When do you get the crash exactly?

I'm not getting a crash. I'm relating what an anon beta tester told me.

Maybe they'll make me a beta tester just to shut me up? frankly, I don't really care. They take my $200 every so often and I make money with the investment every time. The $200 bucks doesn't interest me in the least. I charge that much just to answer the phone. lol I do sometimes resent being a beta tester for a release and REALLY was angry about the DP 6 premature ejaculation they called an upgrade. Fortunately, a different beta tester threw me a critical file DP 6 corrupted and I was able to get my work back. So maybe the thing to do is just be friends with beta testers and find out how to fix stuff... if you can or not?
Frankly, I'd be a damn good tester. When I use the program I'm often in there 12-14 hours a day and find a lot of stuff, which I report to MOTU when the reporter is working (which is is again, thanks MOTU). Otherwise, I'll report bugs that are impeding my work and they're really good about getting back to me (most often fixing them as well, so kudos again to MOTU).
But I'm trouble, mister. You don't want to get involved with me. Oooops! Sorry, too late!

CC data issues..... DP10 is writing aftertouch, but not playing it back.
Opened hardware no work, software synths as well, new project etc.
Confirmed working in Ableton Live 10 and DP9....
Even the song I recorded in DP 10 when saved as a DP9 project, plays back the Aftertouch in DP9
Recording a filter sweep CC wise works in 10.
