File transfer between Macs

Hi, hoping someone here can help with my problem. I have two Macs on the same network that I would like to send files between. But the Mac in my studio is connected to the Airport via ethernet (it doesn't have a airport card), and my other Mac is connected to the network via wifi. Is there a way to easily move files between the two?
Thanks!

If Sharing files is enable in the sharing preferences of both Macs, you should be able to copy files back and forth. The means of the connection shouldn't matter. Each Mac should appear in the Devices list of the other. You'll have to log in to the remote Mac from the local Mac using the user and password credentials of the remote. After that it's drag and drop as usual.

If the files leave the local network, go on a disk, etc, I would too. I have one of the Macs here on ethernet and the rest on wifi and using file sharing have been moving files this way for years with no problems.

Yes. I move files between Macs around here often. Certain files must be zipped including Office, DP. Adobe, many installers. Some types don’t but If I zip everything, it’s never an issue.
