OK to use AppCleaner to uninstall old DP installations?

I'm on DP 9.5, but I still have DP 8 and DP 7 installed on my machine. I think it's time to delete those old versions. If I use AppCleaner to completely remove them, will my DP 9.5 installation remain intact?

I'm worried about AppCleaner erasing some sort of shared resource files that the current DP installation also uses.

Thanks!

No.

With DP 7, you can run an uninstaller from the CD. It’s in the drop down menu in the installer. afterward, you will find that neither 8 nor 9 will run. The reason is that the uninstaller will delete the latest version of certain shared libraries. If you do this, you must run the DP 9 installer.

The best way is to open Applications, just dump DP 7 and 8 into Trash and empty. You’re done—nothing else needs to be done.

App Cleaner is never necessary.
