Instrument bundles question

Recently installed Reaper along with DP. I now see Reaper bundles 1...32 in the instrument bundles tab along with UVI Falcon(which I have as well even though none in project). Question I have is what "registers" something in the instrument tab and, how can you get rid of them as an option so as to lessen clutter when choosing/viewing bundles for i/o?
