Cool Man. The point being MOTU, we would love to move forward in the area of VI and articulation control. It is time I think. DP is very deep if you learn it deep. But times have changed, and MIDI capabilities are brought to the forefront in much clearer and elaborate way now, with these types of competitor programs.nk_e wrote:I actually think Logic nailed it with its new Articulation ID system. I think it is superior to other systems because the Articulation ID is part of the information about the note itself, not some external parallel info contained in the project. This makes everything easier including eventual scoring duties.
There’s over 500 Articulation sets available currently. Very nice.
‘Course, it’s a Logic only thing at the moment.
I agree. They’ve worked on it for quite a long time, with the articulation IDs sitting as a hidden feature in earlier versions and some 3rd parties have jumped in. Maybe MOTU can come up with something better, but it would be good if some standard across DAWs happened. Maybe this (logic) is it.nk_e wrote:I actually think Logic nailed it with its new Articulation ID system.
