OK, how it works: I keep a text file open as I work with DP, jotting down exciting and extremely interesting thoughts about the experience. AS per yoush, no attempt has been made to edit for spelling, grammar, or style, and of course fact-checking or just looking in the damn manual is not in the working spec. A little short this time as I've been doing (gasp) Other Stuff. Enjoy it or don't....

DP v. 9.51, OS 10.11.6, 2009 Mac Pro 8-core, 16g mem.

Some things that we should see when we right-click on a soundbite in the Sequence editor:

All Bite Gain Functions
Duplicate Soundbite

And another Soundbite suggestion: Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a “Time Scale” tool, available from the tool pallette, where you could scale a soundbite graphically and it would stretch or shrink to whatever length you’ve chosen...

If my cursor is in a strictly numeric text box, and I hit the Space key, I’m probably trying to play the sequence. Just sayin’.....

Maybe I’m just noticing this, but I’m loving that active Delays shut down when you hit Play. Also loving that they DON’T stop when I just stop the sequence. Thanks Motu....

Option-Space Bar: This plays whatever is selected. I’ve always found this feature mucho useful. It’d be nice, though, if there was some user feedback somewhere to tell you when playback is over.

Mixing Board Layouts: Saving, replacing, general file management, all that stuff...This whole section needs a complete re-think. I’ve got (for instance) a layout in a project for a Drum set. It changes. I just want to save the current Drum Set Board layout to reflect my changes. Now, jeez, what did I calll it again....?

And speakina: I want to load my drum set Board layout, and then I also want to open a Percussion board layout along with it, while still leaving the drums up there. I should be able to do that.

When “the user” (i.e., me) selects a portion of a MIDI track and hits Cmnd-Ctl-f to freeze the track, and nothing appears to be happening, DP should throw up a message, basically, “Hey Nit Wit, you need to select the track with the Instrument assigned to it, ‘K dummass....”. Extra points if you can do it in audio, with a decent Kinison inpersonator. Then, perrhaps, after a few times, I’ll remember to actually do it.....

I especially like the right-click a soundbite to get some sensible soundbite commands.

How would that be different from just dragging the upper left or right corner of the soundbite?

It would, of course, be exactly the same thing. That's good, that was, ummm, uhhhh...a test! Yes! And you passed, Young Man! I think that's just swell...

Damn, when did they add that? I gotta remember that. Thanks for the heads up, man....

It’s been there as long as I can remember. Very handy

1) Edit Soundbite Layer - even though there are key commands for this, it seems like a logical inclusion. Btw, there is a right-clickable "Edit Layer" option - but that actually changes the track Lane, not the Soundbite layer hierarchy.

2) Reverse Soundbite - quite a few steps are currently required to perform this simple function.
