The "Dot" commands

Always been frustrated with the numeric keypad "dot" being accidentally hit when I'm going for "3" actually. Shuts down my transport and requires extra moves to start up again slowing me down. It's assigned to selecting the counter which I'd rather do manually, how do I turn it off from that function?

I can't find it in the commands window.

Much appreciated.

I suppose you could turn it off in the Commands Window (Shift-L). Look for it there.

If you accidentally hit 3, you can immediately dismiss the expected entry in the transport window by pressing the Esc key.

The other way would be to press 3 more "carefully". Otherwise, the same could be said of any other key command on the keyboard.

I don't need the "dot" to do anything except be out of the way in my work flow. In the heat of the moment trying to avoid it is sketchy as its so fast on my keypad. I've looked for it in the command pane, don't worry about it I'll figure it out.
