Audio Track Forces Samples Reload

Hi. Up until now all I've done with DP is MIDI. Now I have a project with a small audio file. Every time I go into the Waveform window, a samples reload occurs when I leave the window. With a full orchestra template that's painful. I tried freezing the track but that doesn't help. Is there a way to avoid the reload? Thank you!
