Just Got It...

So far so good, (just got it today). I'm using DP 4.6 on a dual 1.25 G4 and I've ruun into some expected convolution cpu peeking but nothing crazy. The sounds are great.

This is why I'm posting, (I feel silly asking this) but there is nothing in the manual about how to record the performance of an MS1 MIDI track, as an audio track. I've seen no evidence of MS1 inputs on the audio tracks at all. Does this mean that this has to run as a virtual instrument all the time? How do I correct this?

Freeze it or do a real time pass by recording the output into one of the inputs of your interface.

Thanks! Real time pass is possible, it won't allow for freezing though, I tried that, menu option stays gray. Is it me or isn't this odd? Shouldn't one be able to record this as a real instrument, like say with Unity from the OS9 era?

I called tech support and got the scoop: Set the output to a pair of busses, and input them to a stereo track, common sense really, should be in the manual though.

When you freeze, you have to highlight the instrument AND the MIDI track.
