DP 7.24 Effects Window Blank

Using DP 7.24 with Yosemite. Added a new instrument track using SmartMusicSoftSynth or Apple's DLSMusicDevice. It adds properly, but all I get on the Effects Window is a small blank window.

Any suggestions?
