Can't "Save As" from DP to AudioDesk

Hello All,
I had a three-day session last week with an instrumental quartet who probably recorded three to four hundred takes (parts of songs not entire songs at once) across three DP8 project files. Instead of bouncing out all of those takes for them to review before comping the takes together, I figured I'd do a SAVE AS for each project file and save them out as AudioDesk project files so they could review everything in AudioDesk which is a free download from MOTU. But DP 8.07 won't do a SAVE AS nor a SAVE A COPY AS.
After talking to MOTU tech it looks like this is probably an issue having to do with DP 8 not being officially supported on Mac OS X 10.11.6 El Capitan which I'm running on a 2009 Mac Pro.
Unless anyone has any ideas how I can solve this, I was hoping I could send the three DP 8 project files to someone with DP 8 running on a supported Mac OS version or running DP 9 on a supported OS, and have them Save out each file as an AudioDesk 2.0 formatted file and send them back to me. I wouldn't be sending any audio files, just the small DP 8 project files.
Thanks very much for any help!
Martin
