MachFive2 and El Capitan

I saw a thread regarding this without resolution...Installed El Capitan and can no longer use MachFive2. All 3 iLoks are plugged in and lit up. iLok site shows MachFive2 in the License Manager but says the license doesn't belong to me (I've been using it for 8 years!) The only support at iLok routes me into buying another iLok but mine isn't broken- it was working fine yesterday. I didn't have an issue with Ethno. Please advise.
Thanks!
Mac OS X 10.11.6

You best bet is a call or techlink to MOTU. I'm pretty sure MachFive 2 doesn't run under the current OS but again, it's worth a call to MOTU. MachFive 3 is awesome...

Is this the problem?

Some companies have released updates to be compatible with the latest v.3 of the iLok License Manager. MachFive 3 has no problem with it, however, so that may not be your issue.

If I get MachFive 3 will it run on DP 7.24?

It's working fine for me.
Although DP 7.24 is no longer supported, MachFive 3 is.

Re: MachFive 3... What kind of bells and whistles with regard to loops are in there? MF2 has a few, but not a lot... Any pop/rock loops that can be used to enhance and bedazzle pop songs? I had a long chat with a heavy hitter who said he used DP and PT for years and has found Presonus Studio One to be loaded for bear, a lot of drag and drop options for layering (i.e.cheating) big pop productions. I'm thinking MachFive 3 is going to have a lot of that kind of stuff?
Thanks!

Loops are outside of my realm of music making at ;resent. You might want to post a new thread under the MachFive/VI section with that question.
