Apparently there's a new version on Mach5 at NAMM. Anyone know what it's all about? It's not impressing NAMM attendees apparently, or you'd think someone would have posted something. ...may be too early though.

I was very impressed. But I'm so tired. I need to recover before I can talk about it in detail.

Stand alone will be great. I will not set it up on a second computer (yet) but being able to just launch Mach 5 and create sounds all day without having to launch DP will be awesome.

Look over in the Digital Performer forum - someone posted comments on the NAMM show, including Mach 5 v2-related comments. The subject heading is "NAMM 2005 & MOTU."

Unlimited parts per instance. Multiple layer capacity. Better Giga and EXS24 support (maybe making VSL Orch samples useable in a practical way?). Loop tools. Real-time stretching.

Nice...

If I'd have made a wish list for M5, that'd be it. Really looking forward to checking it out.

Thanks for the link and info!
