M5 doesn't save after closing session

In DP when I reopen a session I've saved. I have to reload the soundbank and presets in M5.
Is this happening to anyone esle?

when i go to save settings in m5 it crashes performer.
performer4.5 m5 1.2

Where are you trying to save your presets/samples to ?? Is it an external drive ?? If so, which one ?? Does it happen in more than one project ?? Would it occur if you opened up a new project, created a Mach 5 instrument track, and try to save a preset ??

thanks for the reply but things are so screwed up right now that i need to reinstall mach 5. i cant even drag soundfiles into the window.. any thing i did that had to do with creating a new performance or saving settings would make performer crash.
iam just going to reinstall and give it a fresh new drive.
