Audiodesk 4 processing allocation

MOTU112D, mac mini 2.6 i5 (only) 8ghz ram (have to put it in the shop to add ram, bad choice on my part)

Using Audiodesk, buffer set to 12 for no latency, processing meter goes red and stays there and audio signal distorts. 32 is better but, processing meter still stays in the red.

Using system for live audio (UA Apollo8p for 8 mics with unison emulation plugins) No plug ins in Audiodesk, associated (8) channels of input on "input" monitoring.

How can I (if possible) allocate more processing to the Audiodesk software?

Bob

Bob, is this low allocation on mixing, tracking or both?

Sorry for being gone so long, I had no idea anyone responded.

I'm trying to run the UA Apollo 8p through the Audiodesk on "input" for live broadcasting application for the buffer is set at 16 in "recording mode" No track playback, just live monitoring through audio desk.

What happens when you set the buffer to 128?
