Pops and mutes on end of audio

Having a problem in a mastering session. I have the songs on separate tracks which each contain a bx_digital V2 and a Waves LinearMB compressor. All tracks are bussed to a submaster which contains an Elysia Alpha compressor, a Waves PAZ Analyzer and a PSP Xenon limiter.

When audio ends on a track , I get a loud transient wideband pop through my system that stops DP from putting out any more audio. It happens whether the plug is in real-time or pre-gen mode, whether DP is running in 32 or 64 bit... however if I bypass the Alpha the problem goes away. If I bring another app to the front or close the DP session, I get another pop and then my system audio is restored.

If I remove EITHER the bx-digital V2 plugs OR the Waves LinMB plugs, the problem goes away- but in all cases, disabling the Alpha stops the problem.

I've had that happen to me too on occasion, but unfortunately I never really backtracked and tried to figure out exactly what caused it. I think I closed and reloaded the project to "reset" it. I'll keep an eye out if I have this happen again anytime soon.

I sometimes get this after a track fadeout in Peak Pro 7. Could never figure it out.

Yes, I could "reset" it by closing and reopening the session but the problem appears consistently on playback. So far ONLY on this project! I did try the usual stuff, restarting the application, rebooting my computer and the interface, etc. Didn't help.
