M5 Won't Let Me Import Stereo Audio Files!!!! (???)

So I'm running in DP 4.5.2 and trying to drag and drop stereo soundbites - but no dice, it'll only let me do mono! I've tried from the import window too! Any ideas? Thanks!

Lesson learned - search first. It looks like I'm not the only person seeing this bizzare behavior!!! Thanks guys.

Strangely it needs to be nterleaved ! export the desired soundbites as Interleaved SDII files,try now!
