Can anyone confirm this DP9 bug? MOTU must face!

Hello.
I can bring to view the Channel Strip and Track Selector windows with their shortcuts, but pressing them again doesn't close them, as it used to be the case in DP 8.07.
They are freely floating windows (not consolidated).
I tried changing the shortcut to something else, but the problem persists. It doesn't even bring them into focus (as the front-most windows).
The only way to close them is to manually click in their respective close window red buttons...
Can anyone confirm?
Other than that, everything seems great so far.

I can confirm that behavior. I have contacted MOTU tech support about it. Looks like they are going to look into it. Seems it might be caused by something changed from Digital Performer 8 that they implemented in Digital Performer 9 in regards to other window options.

As stated earlier, I'm seeing screen redraw issues related to window opening, closing, and popping in and out of the CW. I haven't had time to play with enough yet due to hand surgery this week. I'll have plenty of time to suss it out next week when the bandages come off. In short, keystrokes are not acting as expected and some windows are leaving blank areas on the screen.
Could be my machine as I've tracked graphics problems to the trash can before. Also, I need to check key commands and keyboard maestro setting for conflicts, etc.
More soon.

Maybe floating Plug-in Windows, you mean? Sounds logical.

Thank you for confirming and for letting them know about it.

Sorry. See edit. One handed typing has it's deficits.

Additional question>
Now all my MIDI inputs read "any". It used to be blank.
Where did that come from? I checked all bundles, but found nothing like that. And they are not accessible, even by option clicking.
No big deal or anything. I'm just curious as to what's behind that change.

I hope you recover quickly and fully!
Everything else seems fine so far. I haven't noticed the behaviour you mentioned.

Welcome to my world. I hope that it's a very short stay and that you recover quickly.
In the mean time, you may want to check out speech to text, built into the OS.

I told you to swap hands when one of 'em got tired, Magilla.
Geez... see what happens when you ignore the monkey on your back?

I think I damaged my hand by clapping so loud that DP 9 was released. Actually, just trigger finger release surgery. One week off duty, non-dominant hand (if you must know-and you must).

So nice to have you back.

Thanks. Pain is not an issue and I should be back to "normal" (whatever THAT is) next week.

It's just stating the obvious isn't it? MIDI tracks generally respond to any MIDI input and now it says that.
