markers disappeared

Anyone know of this a strange DP behaviour. All markers in all my DP files have disappeared. They are no longer listed in the markers window and not visible in Tracks window, sequence window nor any other. They're gone. I am unable to create new markers. Using DP 8.07, MacPro Yosemite 10.10.3 Is there a setting I don't know about or is my DP broken? Thanks for any advice. It's difficult to do much editing of long tracks without markers.

This is one I can answer: Check your view filter (command F).
