DP 7.24, digidesign 002 rack & OS 10.8

Hi Everyone.
First of all, Happy Thanksgiving...
I'm still using 10.6.8 on my six year old MacPro dual quad. I've been happily running DP 7.24 with my digidesign 002 rack.
I now want to add Logic X to this computer, which requires that I install at least 10.8.
Does anyone use the 002 rack with 10.8 and a DP 7.24? I know 10.8 isn't new anymore so it's really more about the 002 rack....
I also use protools 8, but I'm not immediately concerned with that. I need to install Logic X because a songwriting class I'm teaching uses it...
