Setting Motif XF8 in DP8

Just got the Motif XF8 and would like to hook it up to my DP8

I have Windows 8.1 and and DP8.06

Not sure if I go out of the keyboard firewire or USB and how to set it up on DP8...

any help is greatly appreciated!
