Lame Framework Installed-Unable to Bounce to MP3

Hello,

I have Digital Performer 7.24, Mac OSX version 10.7.5. I'm trying to bounce to MP3. I downloaded the Lame Framework folder and I confirmed that I indeed downloaded it by unhiding the Library. The Lame Frameworks folder is currently found on my computer under:

Macintosh HD/Users/my name/Library/Lame Framework. The components listed are: Headers, Lame, Resources,Versions.

I have shut down, gone into DP 7.24, tried to export to MP3 and I keep getting a message that I need to download the Lame Framework. Maybe I downloaded the wrong version of Lame Framework? I'm able to bounce to CD anytime. Any ideas?

Did you try the DP8 demo? I understand that it messes with the DP7 LAME framework. On my 10.6.8 partition I have the framework in Mac HD>Library>Frameworks>LAME.framework (v.3.97).

Mac HD>Library>Frameworks>LAME.framework
This is the correct path for the L.A.M.E. framework on DP 4 through 7.x. It won't work the way you have it installed.

As is found in many threads, this will not work if you have DP 8 installed. There are workarounds.
