Hello:

I recently bought a used Motif Rack ES.I've noticed that
every time I rewind my sequence in DP 8, the volume of the patch
in the Motif drops. If I touch the fader in DP it pops back up to full
volume. This seems to be a problem with the Motif only. I've tried other
plug-ins etc. and the volume stays the same.

Can anyone help me with this issue? It seems to be getting some sort of
CC7, 11 message everytime I rewind the sequence, or simply change to a
new patch. I'm in Voice mode on the Motif ES.I simply want to keep the volume up to 127 when I rewind or switch patches. I've also tried changing
in the Utility/CTRL Reset/Hold, and this doesn't make any difference.

Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the MIDI event editor window and insert a cc7 command for 127 at the start of each track as needed. Then move the cc level up or down in the sequence editor window to adjust the volume for each track. Eventually you will want to record the motif MIDI tracks into audio tracks so that you will be able to process them in the mixer and apply effects as needed.

Thanks for the tip.I found a similar workaround where I use automation,
and record the fader move up all of the way at the start of the sequence.
I like your suggestion because it frees the fader up.
