Thinking of getting Steve Slate Drums 4 platinum for Black Friday. Already have Superior, Addictive, and several others.
Opinions welcome, especially compared to Superior.

Re: Steven Slate Drums 4 Platinum???
I don't have much experience with Superior but I do own & use both BFD2 & 3 and Slate Platinum... You will NOT Be disappointed... Slate is amazing and the sounds are superb!!!!
My advice though, if you buy Slate, go ahead and spring for the CLA expansion.... They are UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING!!!
What makes Slate so sweet is that they already sound like they have been mixed and eq'd by a pro! Not much tweaking necessary out of the box!
BFD, on the other hand is extremely realistic and programmable but needs a lot of post to make it sound big and huge!
You will not regret it!
Peace

Thanks man, though I would say that the cost for the CLA expansion is almost as much as the drums on sale or even more if I recall correctly. That's a bit odd.fullertime wrote:I don't have much experience with Superior but I do own & use both BFD2 & 3 and Slate Platinum... You will NOT Be disappointed...
