Quantizing Soundbites problem

I sliced audio to beats and then I tried to quantize soundbites. But instead of moving the soundbites to the closest 8th beat of the measure it moves the soundbite to the beginning of the next measure. Also, some soundbites disappear. Any ideas how to solve the problem? Thank you

Did the audio where you get the slices had a tempo map? (i.e., was it recorded in DP?)
If not, that could be your problem right there.

NO, they were recorded with DP. I think I figured out the problem. Thank you anyway

Sounds like he quantized to whole notes.
