Multiple Time Rulers

Post by bayswater »

Can someone please show me where in the manual I can find how to set up more than one time ruler? I need to see real time and measures at the same time in the TO and SE time rulers. I had this set up often in DP 7 but memory fails me, and I can't find it in the manual or the DP menus. I thought it was in the Time Formats window, but I can't there see how to select more than one format at a time.

I'm on 7.24, and you can select Aux Rulers under the Time formats "Details" after "Custom" is checked. Is that gone now?

The 3rd grouping of checkable items has two check boxes: main and aux. You can have as many as all 4 rulers running simultaneously with one as main and 3 as auxes.

As for "multi-ruler" versions of the cursor location, event information, and selection information, you do those in their own areas which continue on down the dialog.

I just tested it, and it's all working here. Didn't have to click anything extra first.

Thanks cuttime and Shooshie. That aux option just kept escaping me all day today.
