Transposing instruments and quickscribe editor

Anyone know a way of setting DP to play an octave lower than what's notated in quickscribe?
I'm writing for guitar, which sounds an octave down from what's written.

In the QuickScribe window, go to the mini-menu and choose OPTIONS, in that sub-menu choose Track Options...
There you can transpose the individual part and how it would appear if you had a multi-part score.
If the notation is where you want it, you could drag it down & octave, then change the settings as described above. Or you could open the mixer and in an insert slot, you could had a MIDI transpose plug-in.

Thanks. MIDI transpose plug in in the mixer might be the way to go. I want the score to look an octave higher than what it sounds

Either method works. One transposes the notation, the other the MIDI notes.
You can record your part as you want it to sound, and use the QuickScribe/ Track Options to correct the notation.

Also, you can set Middle C in your DP preferences either to C3 or C4. Not sure if that'll do what you want, but it may be why you are compensating.
