Now DP crashes when I switch to DAE, which may be why it was hanging on start up per the other thread. Right now it starts in MAS in the Settings.

Isn't DAE basically dead? Not sure why you would still be using it.

Well I repaired permissions and rebooted again and now everything is back...except my dead USB ports...
Crazy day. Yes David, I really don't remember the last time I needed DAE, I was just testing things in my broken DP after a day of trying to fix everything...this was just one more thing that would not work.
