Attention MOTU users in Los Angeles -- Free Live Tutorial for Digital
Performer and MOTU hardware (Presented by MOTU)
Need help or advice about MOTU's hardware and software, but didn't know
where to go or who to ask?
Well if you are in the Los Angeles area, now you can get help from MOTU representative Matt LaPoint directly for free.
There will be weekly clinics on Thursdays 10 - 11:30 am at
Westlake Pro* (address below).
Audio Engineers, Musicians, Film Composers, Recording Enthusiasts,
Music Students or just curious Gear Heads.... All levels are welcome!
You don't need to bring anything but yourselves, your questions, and an
eagerness to learn.
Either reply to this thread or PM me if you are interested so I can get an
accurate head count for MOTU.

Of course! He is ridiculously knowledgable about pretty much all things MOTU so I thought that everyone on here could use these small windows of time with him if they were in the area. Hopefully we'll see you in here next week! Remember it's all free and all that good stuff so you can come every week just to chat and get even the smallest questions fully answered!

No. I'm in Wisconsin but a friend of mine is in the hospital through next month end and I would like to see him learn with you. He bought DP8 and I have been helping him. He lives in Monrovia.
I'll be coming in December or Jan to help him out again. Let you know if your still doin it.

This is something Westlake Pro and Matt has been doing for a few years. It was just on hiatus while Westlake was undergoing some reorganizing. So see you in January!

We were rebuilding our facilities to have two top grade mixing rooms installed. If you want to check those out then definitely feel free to visit
