Stockhausen aka PatchPool sounds for Mach5

Post by kgdrum »

Hi all,

Although I'm not a Mach5 user(yet) I wanted to let Mach5 users know that one of my favorite sound developers Simon Stockhausen aka SampleConstruct and Patchpool is starting to develop libraries for Mach5 & imoho Simon is one of the most brilliant talented developers out there & a really nice guy, so you might want to get in the preorder sale.
Everything I have from him is totally unique and breathtaking, this might make me finally get Mach5!
His sale earlier in the summer forced me to get Alchemy, now I'm feeling the same tug towards Mach5 lol!!
He is really getting into Mach5 so I'm sure he will be developing many more unusually unique Mach5 libraries.
Simons demos are in the KVR thread link :

This is good for M5. MOTU should be encouraging similar activities as much as possible.

Thanks so much for the mention, I actually wanted to make an announcement here tomorrow, but now you've already done so. Maybe we're in the wrong forum section, I see there is also a MachFive section.

Anyway, the link to the product page: http://www.patchpool.de/machfive.html
When I'm back on a real computer and not posting from my mobile, I'll add some more info to this thread.

Thanks again!

WORD on everything kgdrum says. BIG endorsement from lil' ol' me as well. Simon is insanely talented. I have a lot of his libraries (for Iris, Kontakt, Alchemy, Absynth, etc.) and use them *all the time*.

One of my very favorite sound designers, period. Looking fwd to what he cooks up for M5v3

Demo for MachFive patch "Barrel Scapes" from the sound library Scattered Entity Vol. 1 available on patchpool.de - various barrel samples split across the keyboard all running in granular mode, crossfade between 3 barrels played with a rubber ball and 3 barrels scraped along a concrete floor with the Modwheel, the 8 available Macros were tweaked on the fly.
