Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 Compatibility with DP

Post by nor »

Hi, all—

I'm a long time DP user and my MOTU 828 (see how long?) finally went south. I bought a Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 because of a special price deal. I'm wondering what, if any, compatibility problems I might encounter with an upgrade to DP 8. Previously, I was using DP 3, so I'm entering new terrain.

Thanks.

I used a DSP Pro 24 with DP 8 and it was great. Still have it but 'acquired' a Track 16 in a MOTU raffle during an LA event so I don't use the Focusrite. I do like the multiple outs of the Pro 24 but the software that the T16 is very useful for analysis.

DP3... woah! How did you manage to hold on so long. Still MacOS 9? I didn't think that was even possible!
